Christmas menu was fantastic and Jordan went above and beyond to ensure dietary requirements were met.

The team could not have been more accommodating, making us feel... read more very relaxed (which isn't alway easy when you are trying to keep little ones occupied!).
The food was delicious, seasonal menu and a great selection. I had the pheasant followed by crème brulé and a cheeky glass of house red.
We will be back again in the New Year.

29th November 2021 - My brother's 40th celebration. - I dont think I've ever been to a venue which was catering for more than about 6 people per table where someone hasn't winged about something being cold, too small,... read more too long a wait etc. This was CERTAINLY the exception to the rule, especially as the pub itself catered for close to 100 people this particular evening. We had "The Snug" upstairs which was a private room for about 18 of us.
The food and service was second to none all evening and I can not thank the staff enough for giving my brother a special evening to remember. Jordan and her staff bent over backwards to accommodate us at quite short notice and was more than happy to help us out with a few late requests.
I would recommend this pub to anyone wanting a relaxed and value- for- money meal.

The food was beautifully presented and service was prompt. We feel lucky to have such a fabulous local pub and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. LouLou362
15th December 2022 Lovely country pub - Great food the venison was exquisite. Good portions, great for kids even supplied cutlery for my 2 year old, which is great as we always forget.
