Stag is a King bed in a cosy room with smaller ensuite shower, situated above the bar and kitchen area in the original part of the Pub with character and original features. This is one of the smaller rooms we have.

The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food is phenomenal. Had one of the best 3 course meals of my life on New Year’s Day, and was shocked when I was only asked for 23 quid! Had mushroom with a garlic cream sauce, a minted pea and asparagus risotto, and a sticky toffee pudding, and everything was perfect. Quite literally couldn’t find a fault, and the 5 other people were exactly the same. A couple of the others had a Seafood tagliatelle and there was nearly more seafood than pasta! Altogether a pretty stunning meal.

The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that the the peas with the childrens’ meals were dry and a bit hard so they didn’t want to eat them.

2nd May 2022 Weekend break - Had a great stay again at The Bell Inn Rickinghall. Wonderful hosts, great food and hospitality, lovely comfortable rooms in a relaxing atmosphere and central location.

But the service was welcoming, efficient and really first rate. The lady who served us was so helpful and we got served really quickly along a relaxed atmosphere. I don’t usually do reviews but I felt in this case that The Bell Inn deserves a fabulous mention. Thanks so much.

4th September 2021 - Clean and friendly pub. Good roast . Breakfast was okay bit on the small side. Nice locals in this pub. Room was nicely decorated and immaculate. Would stay here again.

This year they catered for 34 of... read more us for a 3 course sit down meal along with many drink purchases at the bar, which was all managed very well.
Christmas menu was fantastic and Jordan went above and beyond to ensure dietary requirements were met.
We will be back!
