It’s just been refurbished so everything was very clean and smart.

We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was excellent, well cooked and good-sized portions.

There wasn’t a single thing to find fault with, breakfast was lovely with dishes from eggs Benedict and eggs florentine to a full English. Treats were provided for our dog at every meal and there’s even a doggie menu that includes a roast or fish and chips!

Exactly what you’d look for for a couple of nights exploring the Suffolk countryside.

  Booked ahead and were seated in the bar area. The good service; friendly and helpful. All the food was delicious. Open fire, cosy feel bar, super selection of drinks and as for the food, without doubt the best food I have had in a long time whilst travelling.
I arrived late on my first day and the staff sorted out some food for me, nothing was too much trouble.
I will defo be staying her when needed for work and would use it as a base for a weekend break with the family.
