The Bell Inn prides itself on offering a wide range of culinary delights, whether taken in the informal atmosphere of the Bar Lounge or in our Fine Dining Restaurant “The Chimes” located immediately adjacent to the Lounge.

Our Chef will create dishes either from our Restaurant Menu serving the finest English and Continental foods using the freshest local ingredients or from our Bar Menu with an extensive range of
Locally sourced home cooked seasonal fare.

Our Fine Dining Restaurant offers a maximum of 25 covers at any one time. Using Fresh White Linen, Crystal Wine Glasses and Fine Polished Cutlery our family provides an extremely attentive yet friendly and professional service.

PRIVATE DINING

Our Function Room is the perfect venue for Christmas Parties, Luncheons, Private Dining, Wedding Receptions, Anniversaries and Business Meetings.

Whether you are holding a Birthday Party, a Private Meal or a Small Intimate Wedding Reception we offer Bespoke Menus to Suite all Tastes and Budgets, we use only the finest Locally Sourced ingredients to create delicious bespoke menus.

Private Dining is always a great way to enjoy any Celebration and to be spoilt throughout the evening by your own dedicated staff just adds to the experience,

If you would like us to create a theme in the room to enhance your experience we would be happy to discuss any ideas.

Our Function Room seats a maximum of 40 guests and using The Bell Inns bespoke Solid Wood Banqueting tables we can design a table arrangement to suit any party size.

LUNCHES AND DINNERS

A selection of home cooked meals can be taken in the restaurant or bar, also packed lunches are available upon request.

OPENING TIMES

The restaurant is open 12pm to 9pm 7 days a week

Thankyou so much for making today so special for our daughter Jasmine's 18th meal. The room was beautiful and the food was superb compliments very much so to your chef!

A lot of family had travelled up from Kent and thoroughly enjoyed there time here, all said they definitely want to come back to your pub again when they up to stay next!

Also thankyou for upgrading the room my daughter and boyfriend stayed in it was very much appreciated by them both and will be recommending it to anyone who is looking for someone to stay.

The Probus Ladies really enjoyed their lunch at The Bell on 9th November. There were many complimentary comments about the food and the empty plates spoke for themselves! We had a lovely time and your staff were very welcoming and helpful. The chef was brilliant - despite having someone turn up unexpectedly - he produced an extra fish dish and tasting plate and had it on the table without any fuss.

Sorry to have left it so long, I want to thank you for a very nice stay at the Bell. We had a very good meal in your restaurant on the Saturday evening, our American friend is a renowned eater but even he had trouble finishing the Game Plate. We slept very well and were very comfortable. Breakfast sent us on our way set up for the day.

When I drink bottled Aspalls in my local, (unfortunately not draught) It reminds me of your bar.
